As a Senior Control Systems Engineer I am responsible for Controls and Automation requirements on projects, sometimes working on multiple projects simultaneously. • I am a Controls subject matter expert during the design and implementation stages of projects • Writing code for PLC, HMI, and SCADA from scratch utilising IEC61131-3 standard. • Responsible for testing and validation of the Control solution. • Liaising and aligning with teams across the business to deliver a high quality solution • Working on existing site to improve or modify the current system.

Amazon Logistics has a goal to provide customers with an incredible package delivery experience for the “last mile” of their order. As Control Systems Engineer I was responsible for Controls and Automation needs for 62 sites across the United Kingdom and the preparation of new launch sites. I worked on a project to replace the BT leased lines of Scottish Water. My communications expertise were used in order to resolve serial communications from PLC to WAN via satellite, 3G cellular, and radio communication links. • Bench testing of serial and ethernet PLC to PLC communications for Siemens and Rockwell PLCs via satellite communication link. • Commissioning communication links on site.

Located at the Peterborough office providing solutions for clients across the water and food process sectors. I worked on pumping control for a river abstraction point to ensure that the river level can be maintained while optimising the extraction of water via 6 pumps and ensuring that upon failure all available pumps are still able to sequence. • Programming Rockwell PLCs and RSView32 SCADA • Liaising with customers • Testing and simulation of systems, fault finding • Control Failure Mode Evaluation and Analysis (FMEA) • Performing customer FAT • Commissioning on site • Modifications to existing electrical panels • Set up and calibration of instrumentation

The main project was the improving the reliability and function of a two-cell collation, box loading, and sealing machine for the baked products industry.
